FOOTBALL.
The hon, secretary of tbo O.R.P.U. received a telegram yeoterday from the Wellington Rugby Union intimating that the Wellington toam would play Otago on the 22nd prox. In consequonoe of the necessity for trial matches, tho committee of tho O.R.F.U. have decided to request clubs to postpone their fixtures for a month. Tbo following players have -been picked to play in a practice match on the Caledonian ground on Saturday next at 2.15 eharp:—
