A letter was received from Mossra M'lndoe, Colledge, Holmes, and Gardner with reference to tho Council's expressed intention to sell a now lease of tho Quarry reserve adjoining their properties. Thoy urged thai In the event of tbe lease being cold, arrangements should be mado for tho removal of tho crujhor frcm its present position, where it was a Bource of very great annoyance to them, and C3nBidornbly affected the value of their property -After seme dissuasion It was resolved that the letter be received.
