A. Lees v. J. W. Baker.—Claim £13 Cs lid, for goods supplied.—Defendant did not appear, and judgment was given for the amount claimed, with coeta.
D. Mason v. H. Duncan. —Claim £5 03 sd, being money advanced by plaintiff to defendant in respect of the purchase of a number of pigs.—Mr Wood appeared for plaintiff, Mr D. M. Stuart for defendant. —Plaintiff was nonsuited, with costs. Proctors, Jones, and Co. v. A. Syrnmous.— Claim £18 18s 3d, being the value of a cask of whisky which was shipped on board the defendant's ship Saraca and landed empty at Dunedin, —Mr Denniston appeared for plaintiff, Mr Sinclair for defendant. —After the case had been heard at some length the plaintiffs were nonsuited, with costs.
