OCR VOLUNTEERS.
The annual inspection of the Port Chalmers Naval Artillery took place on Friday-evening in the presence of Captain Gordon, adjutant ot the diutrict, who was accompanied by Stuffsergeants M'Kay and Paxton. There were present: Captain Goldie, two lieutenants, one chief petty-officer, three first-class petty-officers, one drummer, and 40 gunners. The bandmaster and nine bandsmen were also present. The men were paraded, and their arms and accoutrements were examined, and proved to be in good order, although it is seven years since they were supplied to the company.
