CAVERSHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL.
A special meeting of this Counoil, held last evening, was attended by the Mayor, Crs Barren, Bridger, Cochran, Broadfoot, W. Wilson, M'Laren, and Calder.
It was agreed, on the motion of Cr CoCHBAN, seconded by Cr Bridgek—" That the resolution adopted at a special meeting of the Council, held on Thursday, 16th November last, with reference to the £20,000 loan for works and drainage within the borough, be confirmed, and that his Worship the Mayor take the necessary steps to ascertain whether the ratepayers are favourable or otherwise to the loan being raised."
