Daily Times Office, Monday evening. The amount of Customs Revenue received to-day

on goods entered for consumption was £1741 11s 3d.

PROPERTY SALE.

M'Laudrcss, Hepburn, and Co. report that they held their usual v.eekly sale of property yesterday. The attendance was good, and the bidding in somo instances slightly more spirited than the previous week. The following is the result of the sale:—Freehold in High s reet, biing part of section 40, block VI, sold to Mr A. Thomson, of Port Chalmers, for £800. The unoccupied portion of Corporation lease of those premises in Manse street formerly occupied by Messrs Oliver and Ulpn, sold to Messrs A. and T. Inglis for £300. Mr Arthur Scoullars residence at corner of York place and Rattray street was passed in, thero being no bid. Tho freehold property being part of section 50, block XXVII, fronting Frederick street, together with the cottage erected thereon, was a!so passed in, the highest bid being £505. The lust of the allotments in tho Grange estate were also offered and sold: No. f>7, at corner of Hyde and Frederick slreets, was sold to Mr James Nitbet for .£276 ; allotment No. 1, fronting Leith street, was EOld to Mr A. Simmonds for £245 ; and allotment No. 2, also fronting Leith street, was sold to Mr F. Bennett far £225.

Messrs Mort and Co., of Sydney, report on Septcm ber 23rd as follows :—

Wheat.-N.S. Wales parcels sell readily at from 7s to 7s Id per bushel. We quito f'alifornian at Us 6d ; Tasmanian, at from 6s to 6s 3d; and New Zealand, 6s 3d to 53 Ud. Bran realises up to 16d per bushel, and pollard from lUd to 17d.
