JAMES ROBIN, Esq., J.P., Dunedin. Bankers : THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA. Brokois: MESSRS W. P. STREET & CO. This Company is projected for tho purposo of purchasing the proporjy of the Kaikorai Woollen Factory Company comprising the factory I uildings (which are extensive), plant, machinery, &c, together with about 6J acres of land, with frontages to Main Lower KaiIflirai and Brockvllle Roads, and all tho valuable water rights appertaining tlfx-reto. Tho Promoters hold a provisional agreement to purchase for tho Bum of £11,000 the above property, and attached thereto Is an inventory of tho plant, machinery, &c, together with valuations, which can be inspected at the office of the Company's Brokers. In view of the largo importation of woollen goods into tho Colony, which can be produced hero at a less cost by working up the wool grown in the province, tho saving of freight, the luj pur cent, import duty on the manufactured article, and tho fact that the factories at present established aro quite inadequate to supply tho incrcasinglocal demand - all tliesiyfclrcuinatances together point to the conclusion that the business to bo carried on mtiat prove highly profitable. With a ready markot thus assured, the Promoters have overy confldeneo in placing tho sharca before the' public. There aro at prcsont on tho premiaca two complete sots of machines for tho manufacture of avorv description of woollen goods; and with a view of increasing tho producing power rendered necessary for the Buccoasful and economical working of the factory, it is ihe intention of the Promoters to procure another complete set of machines, for which the existing driving power is moro than ample, and further to purchase the necessary apparatus for the fii ishiug O' tweeds. Tho Company would then possess, at a very low cost, and much loss than any ather company in the Colony haa expended for similar machiuery, a mill comploto in every respect, fitted with the most modern manufacturing appliances, and capable of producing every variety of woollen fabrics, including ttio heavior articles, such as blankets, plaidings, mauds, nip, hoaiory yarn, land tweeds, tho domand for tho latter boing very large and of a most remunorativo character. The money proposed to bo called up will not only bo ample for acquiring the property, and for the purchase of the additional machinery, but will leavo a good margin of working capital, which will place tho Company in a sound financial position, and avoid many oxponses which tho want of capital nocosaarily iucura. The present Proprietors have boon induced to sell their Interest solely for tho reason that a larger capital is roquirod for tho development of tho business than thoy are in a position to supply. Tho Promoters, in presenting thia venture to the public, need only point to the romarkablo success which lists hitherto attended the establishment of Woollen Factories in tho Colony, and they bollcvo, loeldng to tho exceptionally favourable terms on wlilch tho Kaikorai Mill property can bo acquired, that no nioro attractive investment than the above has yot been submitted to the public. Tho shares have beon mado ot small amount to onablo per«ona of limited meana.jis well as capitalists, an opportunity of investing in an undertaking which cannot fail to rotuvn a good r»to of iutorost, and at try which will build up tho prosperity of tho Colony... A larijo number of Bhares having already boon taken up, early application ia necessary. ProapoutußCS and Forma of Application at tho offlco of the Company's Brokors, Liverpool street, Dfincdln. 13d.
