KENSINGTON SCHOOL.
The anuuid breaking-up of the Kensington school, South Duuediu, took place on Friday laat, in the presence of about thirty parents and others. After the enjoyment of field sports, iv the shapo of a cricket match among the boys, and skipping, &c, among the girla, about 300 children assembled in tho school-room to partioipato iv a sumptuous repast provided by the School Cuuiuiittco. In one of the rojni3 a number of samples of plain and fancy uo-iviug and othtr woric wag displayed toy inspection, several specimens of which were really excellent. Three hearty cheers were given for the School Committee, the ladies for!their kindness in distributing the good things, and, at the request of Mr John U'Ren, the secretary of the School Committee, cheers for the teachers. Mr Moore announced that the school would re-open again on Monday, the 20th January.
