THE SUEZ MAIL. TO THE EDITOR.
Sir —Permit me to state that the contretemps Toy which the Athenaeum did not receive its ■parcel of books by this mail, has occurred three times lately in connection with my usual case of . magazines and books. The consignments, for •which I pay a very heavy freight, have beeu left in Melbourne, instead of being forwarded by the -first branch boat, greatly to the annoyance of a large number of, my customers, and to my own 3oss.—l am, &c., Phii-ip Mitchell. Fleet street.
