Dunedin, 18fch November, 1872. 19n GENUINE ARTICLE, and Straight forward dealing, renders silly puffs un necessary. We import the finest samples of COFFEES of every description direct from the plantations, and sell them Pure, or mixed with Chicory, according to the demands of our customers, guaranteeing every article free from adulteration. ROBERT HARPER and CO., Orikjjtax Mills, Melbourne ; And STAFFORD STREET, Dunedin. REALLY FINE COFFEE has been an article of consumption in New Zealand so long that the Retad Roasters arc continually attempting its manufacture, butmeet with great difficulty in disposing of their unsystematic mixtures, even with the assistance of sensational advertisements. Our "CROWN," " EAGLE," and "EXHIBITION" BRAND COFFEES are in extensive consumption in all parts of New Zealand, which is the most convincing proof of their appreciation, and superiority over that manufactured by those who are unknown as Coffee Roasters, beyond their own street. Buyers of our Brands never complain of BAD COFFEE. W. GREGG and CO. (Established 1861), Dnndedin. 260 BAD COFFEE has been so long an article of consumption in New Zealand that public taste has almost degenerated to a preference for the cheap and nasty compounds sold as Coffee instead of the fragrant berry. The Storekeepers may be to blame for pushing the sale of the article on which they have the largest profit; but the public have a certain and simple remedy in their own hands by asking for, and insisting on being supplied with, the Coffee bearing the name of " Barron, Grant, & Co." on the wrapper. The price will not be grudged by any one who can appreciate REALLY FINE COFFEE. ISjy ORT WINE FOR INVALIDS, as aDproved and recommended by the leading medical men in Otago. 60s per doz., Yellow Seal BARRON, GRANT, and Co.

In describing the thanksgiving services in St Paul's Church last Sunday, the Dunedin correspondent of the Tuapeka Times says :— " I should say thafc the services at St Paul's have now arrived at as- 'High' a stage as it is desirable they should do, unless those in authority want a re-opening up of the hot warfare which raged in connection with this subject some time hack."
