I would not for^ * moment suggest the advisability of inducing one outside the present Council to come forward. If so, there would >e no inducement to dovolope the.unbnundod talent we posses* in our midst. In other places I find thattha Mayo- is chosen fromthcreturnedCouncillor*. If this plan was adopted in thin place» X doubt not but the election would be satisfactory to tho ratepayers.
