The amount of Customs Revenue received to-d%y on goods cleared for consumption was L 749 12s lid, tho items being—Whisky^ L 47 3s 8d; geneva, L 47 03 Id; rum, LSO 12s IOd; wine, IA; beer in bulk, Ll2 10s ; bottled beer, Lol2s Od; tobacco, L 144 2s 6d; do damaged, for sheopwash, L 42 7s; tea, L 8 2« Od ; sugar, LlO3 18a 3d ; coffee, LIS 2s j drugs, Ll 17s 7d ; drapery, L3olßs ; sundriea, LM lis lid.
Under date Monday evening, tho Oamaru Times reports :— Tho grain markets arc dull. In consequence of lato advices wheat exhibits a declining tendency. Barley is unaltered. Oats arc. for Rood ordinary sample, worth about 2a 6d, though we hear of the sale of a small parcel of extra quality at 2* Bd. '^
