The a. a. Taiaron, after an unusually protracted trip, caused through heavy weather, returned from Southern ports at 4 a.m. yesterday, and moored alongside tho hulk Industry, whoro sho discharged part of her enrgo, and proceeded to Dunedin on tho evening's flood. She loft Port Chalmers at 8 a.m. on tho 21at, aud arrived afc Waikava at 9 a.m. on the 22nd; landed passengers and discharged cargo, and left at noon, arriving in Molyneux Bay at 5 p.m, samo day; brought "up for tho night, and entered tho river at .1.30 p.m. next day ; discharged cargo and loaded produco ; was detained insttlo tho river by strong winds and rough bar until 4.30 p.m. pn the 26th, when she sailed for Port Chalmers. Strong E. and S.E. winds and heavy «eaa wpro experienced throughout tho trip. . Capt. Tall, of the Taiaroa, reports-that the schooner Clutha was loaded with timber at Waikava, and awaiting a favourable opportunity to aail for Dunedin; also, that the new schooner Jane Anderson was launched, and had her masts in and standing rigging act up Sho would probably leave for Dunedin, within a fortnight-, with timber. , The barque Eleanor, from Newcastle, with a cargo of coalconsignod to Mr Hutehifion/arrivSrafc the Hcads^. yesterday morning. -AA- .v v. -a
