Young Hero is a chesnut, rising 3 years old, 16 hands high, possesses immense bone and plenty of hair, was bred by Win. Jones, E3q., of Westwood, Tasmania. Young Hero was got by the Lincolnshire cart stallion Lincolnshire Hero, imported to Tasmania by W. >R. Q. Kermode, Esq. Young Hero's dam Blossom by the imported horse Matchless, grand dam Rose, bred by the Messrs Symmons, Oaks, Tasmania; Rose, by the imported horse Lincoln, imported by the late Dr Wilmore, to Tasmania.
