Tha "Boston Advertisei of tbo 22nd December reports that General i*herrosn hud safely accompliahed bis march from Atalanta to Savannah, without loss of even a bufrnnge waggon. He slates, in a report to the War Secretary, that ho ha« completely invested Savannah. General Tibomw attaclted Hood's army in front of Nashville, on the 15th December, and drove the enemy from hfs poiition at every point except his extreme right, wiurs now^oua attempt to dislodge him was made. Thoia»» ia reported to have captured nearly all of Hood's artillery and 9000 prifiOHers.
