Dunedin and Suooiibs North comprises all lands in the Province of f 'tugo bounded on tha south by a right line prolonged from the Harbor of Dunediu through the centre of Stuart stree and centre of the Octagon, Dunedin, until the said line intersects the western loundary aftermentioned j on the east by the Ocean ; on the north-west and west by a right line from the north-western head of Purakaiiui Harbor to the Trigonometrical Station on Flagstaff Hill .:■ thence by a right line towards the mouth ofthe Kaikorai River, until it intersects the above-mentioned right line from the Harbor of Dunedin through Stuart-street

Dunedin and Subdkbs South comprises land in tlie Province of Otago bounded on th east by the Ocean; on tho north by a right lino prolonged from the Harbor of Dunedin through the centre of Stuart-street and centre of tie Octagon, Dunedin, until the said line intersects the western boundary after-mentioned; on ihe south by the Ocean ; on the south-west and w;s* bjr a right line from the mouth of the Kaikorai River towards the Trigonometrical Station or Flagstaff Hill till it intersects the said north boundary.

Bruce is bounded on the north by the Hampden District, from the mouth ofthe Waikouaiti Rive to the confluence ofthe Minzionburn and 'Jiutha River; thence by a line to the summit of Mount Spylaw; thence down the Spylaw Burn to its confluence with the Pomahaka River; thence ou the west by the Pomahaka River to the continence of the Waipahi Creek; thence by thp Waipahi Creek to the confluence of the Kawera Creek; thence by a line to the Otaria Peak ; thence on the south-west by a line to Cattlin's Cone; thence by Catilin'sßiver to the sea: and thence by the sea to Waikouaiti River—excepting the Districts of Dunedin and Suburbs JNorrh, and Dunedin and Suburbs South. 4. Hampden is bounded on the north and north-east by the Heathcote and Timaru Districts; on the north-west by the sea; on the south-west and south by a line from the head of Milford Haven to the Waikatipu Lake ; thence by that Lake to the Kawaurau River; thence by" that River to Clutha River; thence by the Clutha River to the confluence of the Minzionburn; thence by the Minzionburn to Lammerlaw Peak; thence hya line to the nearest source of the Deep Stream ; thence down the Deep Stream to its confluence with the Taieri River ; thence by a line due east across the Silver Peak Hills to Cherry Farm Creek: thence down that Creek to its confluence with the Waikouaiti River ; and down the Waikouaiti River to the sea; and on tbe east by the sea.

Port Chalmers District comprises all that area within the Town and Belt, as shown in the Record Maps. 3. Oamaru Town Distriot comprises all that area within the town boundary, as shown in the Record Maps.
4. North Harbor District comprises all that area, bounded on the north by the Ocean: on the east by the Oiago Harbor and Port Chalmers District; on the south by the Town of Duuedin ; and on the west by the Water of Leith to its source; thence to the Waitati Stream from it ' source to the Ocean.
5. Peninsula District comprises all that ar bounded on the north by Otago Harbor; on tha east by the Ocean; on the south by the Ocean: and on the west by Block VII Town District, and that road-line running direct from Hillside to the Ocean Beach. 6. Waikari District comprises all that area bounded on the north by the northern boundary of Block V, Dunedin aud East Taieri District; on the east by the Water of Leith and Town of Dunedin; on the south by that rond-line running from Maclaggan-street to Look-out Point; thence by a direct line through Trig Stations V and D to that road-line running along the Kaikora Ranges; on the west by that road-line towards Stoney Knowe, and the western boundary o Block V Dunedin and East TaieriDistrict. 7 Green Island and Caver3hAh District comprises all that area bounded on the north by Waikari, Dunedin, Otago Harbor aud Peninsula District; on the east and south by the Ocean; and on the west by the Kaikorai and Abbott's Creeks, and hy the western boundary of Block VI, Dunedin and East Taieri District, and that road leading along the Kaikori Ranges. 8. Taieri District comprises all that area bounded on the north by Sutton's Stream, the Taieri River, the Allan Creek; thence by the Water Shed of the Silver Peak Hills to Swampy Hil|-; on the east by Waikari, Caversham, and Green Island Districts, and the Ocean ; on the south by the Taieri, Waipori Lake and River to its source; and on the weft by the Water Shed of the Lammerlaw Ranges. 9. Waihola District comprises all that area bounded on the north by Taieri District; on the east by the Ocean, by Akatore Stream, aud tha southern boundaries of Blocks 111 V, VI, Clarendon District, Blocks I and 11, Waihola Lake District; and on the west by the western boundary of Block I, Waihola Lake District, and Blocks. 10. Tokomairiro District comprises all that area bounded on the north by Fruidburn, Taieri. and Waihola Districts; on the east by tlie' 'cean ;on the south by the Wangaloa Creek to Trig. Station I, thence by Fraser and Lovell's Creeks to Mount Stuarl, thence by Dull Burn and the Wai tahuna ; and on the west by the Clutha River. 11. Matau District, including Kaitanoata and Inch Clutha comprises all that areai bounded on the north by T komairiro District; on the east by the Ocean : and on the south- pnd west by tbe Clutha River, and its southern arm. 12.
