POST OFFICE CLOCK.
(To the. Chief Po.stma.st-r {.er favor of the Daily Times.) Sir,—Being welt p?r.<uaded of vo-ir general desire to make the Post Office Department all it should be — and especially as that indefatigable Corj)orati.-,.,. the I own Board, have done you such a good turn lately, —in mending your ways and approaches, I am sur, you will not take amiss the following suggestions. First,—To impress upon you the necessity which exists tor a Post Office Clock, one which will combine the ornamental with the useful. And Secondly,-To save y„t. r obliging voun-.' officials (ulready, no doubt, severe! v overworked), as well as an aiiniable public, a good'deal of trouble, 1 suggest that you invest, on the General Government account, in a letter balance or two, to be hung up outside. They could easily be removed at dosing time in the evening—to save them being stolen by Sir, Yours obediently, New Iniquity.
