POST OFFICE NOTICE.
Mails close for Port Chalmers per harbour steamers daily. For Great Britain, Australian Colonies, &c, per " Aiding1?! " This Day 28th, for registered letters and newspapers, at 11 a,m. ; for ordinary letters at noon. For Wellington per " H ermine," on Saturday, 28th at 2^ p.m. For North aed West Taieri, on Saturday, 28th, at 11 a.m. For Southern Distaicts, including Tuapeka, Waitalmna, and Weatherstone's, on Monday, 80th, at noon. Advertisers with whom Accounts are open are respectfully requested, to moke prompt monthly Settlements. In no case ivill longer credit be given, and the understanding on which it is granted is that the Collector will not he made to call more than once for the same Account. It, is particularly requested that Subscribers not receiving their papers regularly will forward complaints to the Manager, Daily Times Office.
