The " AUUnga" excellel hor^olf th:s t;-ip. Sho rn-idc the trip in 4 days 22 hours. A serious fire broke out on hoard, caused, it is supposed, by spontaneous combustion amongst the coals. Smoke was seen issuing from the after-hold, and ii; was evident a large body of fire was below. The passengers and crew, acting under the able directions of the captain, soon removed the danger, which at one time appeared imminent. The presence of mind and judgment evinced by Captain SI-Lean were highly extolled, and the passengers combined to present him an address, couched in highly eulogistic terms, accompanied by a purse of sovereigns.
