LYRIC CONCERT PARTY

The Lyric Concert Party, which making its' first appearance in Oa"*ara on Thursday night, should

prove irresistibly attractive to a music-loving public. The party is composed of several of Australia's most finished artists, who have earned a wide reputation iu their several roles. Miss Belle Pollard, acclaimed as one of Victoria's most brilliant sopranos, in addition to rendering sols from grand operas, oraioria and concert ballads, will also take part in duets with the popular Australian v tenor. Mr Walter Wbyte, lute principal tenor of Williamson Ltd. Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company. His repertoire is extensive. Mr Wliyte holds a premier position in the musical world and his advent to Catmint should be an educational and vocal treat to patrons. Miss Bathie Howie Stuart shines as a comedienneentertainer and universal joy-mater. the embodiment of the spirit of golden youth, of carnival and of merriment. Iler repertoire consists of monologues, sketches, -impersonations, interspersed with songs and recitals. The party is appearing here for a season of two nights only and all should lake advantage of its visit. Box plan now open at the Bristol.
