DESPERATE RUSSIAN CRIMINALS.
SESIEGED IN A COTTAGE. [By Electkic Telegraph—CorrniGnr.j i'En Press Association. Beceived April 22, at 9.5 a.m. Petrograd, April 21. Three armed men stopped a cab in which two employees of a factory were carrying £4OOO sterling for payment of wages. They stole a bagful of gold and tired revolvers at their pursuers. Two of the trio barricaded themselves in ;i cottage, but the police, carrying shield* and petroleum, set fire to the cottage. The besieged men committed suicide after discharging their last shots. A third bandit was arrested elsewhere.
