The annual report of the Victorian Pacing Club shows that the expenditure exceeded the, receipts by £8232, caused liv extensive improvements. The stakes ' totalled £74,372, including: CCil,ooo .added money. Excepting the autumn meeting, which , earried d loss ol' £lßl. all the meetings showed good profits. The spring meeting was £20,000 to the good. The control by the stipendiary stewards is working satisfactorily.
