FIRE AT MIRAMAR.
FIREMEN INJURED. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, June 2. There'were several narrow escapes of inmates during the destruction by fire of a- six-roomed residence at Miramar last evening., Tlie house was owned by Mr W. Tait, and occupied by Mr I<\ Turnbull. The outbreak was due to a falling oil lamp. Two firemen,, J. Mann and J. Harris, were-injured through "the chimney falling, the former severely.
