On Thursday evening last the Committee of the Hannaton Coronation Hall held a, dance in aid of the piano fund. They have purchased a very good and so filled a longleft .want. A number of young people assembled 1 , and although the Committee would have liked to have seen a bigger crowd, yet the function was ;; success in every way. The Committee found all refreshments, and Mr J. R. Kea'rton gave his services at tbc piano, and as nobody .spared himself in striving after success., everything passed. o(F in .good style. Mr W. Lindsay made a very efficient M.C., and all expressed themselves well satisfied with the'evening's enjoyment when they dispersed : n the early'hours of the morning.
