BRITAIN REFUSES TO ISOLATE GERMANY.

Received June 1. at 8.15 a.m. Berlin, May 31. The Taglische Rundschau says that Britain has definitely rejected Russia and France's request to join the Franco-Russian naval convention. The newspaper says Sir E, Grey intimated that his Government desired., in-defer-ence to British .sentiment, to maintain the good relations with Germany and avoid any step that might be regarded as directed against the latter.
