The insurgents are petitioning for au International Control Commission to restore Turkish rule or, alternatively, to save them from, the present- Government. They declare that they were fired upon when peaceably marching to Durazzo to protest to the King against persecution by'his officers.

The international commission to consider the revolution planned and led by the Young Turks has requested tli2 Powers to remonstrate -with the Porte.
