Fat Pigs.—Choppers £3 7s 6d to £3 13s, heavy baconers 60s to £6ss, lighter £SO to 555, these prices being equal to SAd per lb; heavy porkers 42s to 475, lighter 36s to 40s, equal to 6id |ier lb. Store pigs were also in small supply, and as a result there was a brisk - demand, nearly all the animals offered changing .hands. Large stores 32s to 38s, medium 27s to 31s, small sorts 22s to 265, weaners 16s to 20s; sows in pig £5 to £6 2s 6d.

GRAIN. AND PRODUCE REPORTS. -Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows:—We liekl our weekly sale of grain" and produce on Monday, when values ruled as under: —Oats : The market is lifeless, and shows a weakening. : n values since our last report. Prime ■ milling Gartons, 2s; good to best .feed, Is lOd to Is lid ;■ medium, Is 7d to Is Odinferior, from Is 6d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat: .There is -i strong demand from millers for any suitable lines, but the quantity offering is very small. Fowl wheat is in very short supply, and requirements are being filled flom medium milling. Prime milling velvet, 4s 3d; red wheats, 3s lOd to 4s; "best whole fowl wheat, 3s 9d to ■3s lid; medium to good, 3s 6d to 3s Sd per bushel (sacks extra). Potatoes : There are still a few • consignments of old: potatoes coming to hand, but the demand for these is now practically over. New season's potatoes are arriving more freely from northern ports, and there are also a few lots coming from North ■ Otago. Sales of lod potatoes have taken place during the week at from 20s to 30s per .ton, according •to Equality and condition. Chaff: Of late-consignments have been very light, and prime quality meets a ready sale at quotations. In consequence of light consignments stocks ,'n store have been drawn on largely of late, with the result that very Tittle now remains in store.
