Complete anarchy ;prevai,ls in the Kossovo districts. The insurgents are masters of the situation;": PERSIA. (Press Correspondent.) Auckland, June 9An interesting visitor at present in Auckland is Dr Jacob Johanan, a Persian gentleman just recently from Tabriz, which is virtually the centre of the disturbances at present rulingin Northern Persia. Speaking to a New Zealand Herald reporter yesterday, Dr Johanan said that he anticipated that the trouble, which arose from the action of Russia in championing the cause of the royal family against the Constitutional party, is likely to be protracted. The action of the Russians in executing four Mahommcdan high priests has aroused all the Moslems to bitter enmity and has caused the Turks to take a high hand in the affairs of Persia. Another disturbing circumstance is the presence in the country of members of the roval family nearly related to the lately-deposed Shah. Attempts have been made to induce them to leave, but have so far proved ineffective. The ultimate outcome of the situation, in Dr Johanan's opinion, will be a species of condominium of Great Britain and Russia in the country, the influence of tho former becoming dominant in the south and of the latter in the north.
