MOTOR-CAR DESTROYED.

(Per Press Association.) Palmerston North, May 10. A motor ear shed owned by A. Schlager caught fire this morning, and a. car valued at £BOO w-as completely destroyed. It had just been renovated at a cost of £IOO, and the owner was about to give it a trial. He started the engine and went inside for a coat. Returning, he found the place in flames. It is thought that the benzine ignited from the carburetter. The car was insured in the Dominion office for £SOO. Another small car in the shed was saved.
