The late David Wilson, who died on Christmas • Eve at the actva'need age of 85. and who was a very"-old "colonist, having arrived in the Dominion*'in "the barque. Victory iii-1857- and settled. in Ashburton district 38 years ago, -left an estate - which it is expected will be sworn at jiist tinder £BO,OOO. The religions and charitable'' bequests total £3300, and of this all but £2OO is left to funds and institutions in connection with the Presbvterian Church of New Zealand. The £3IOO is divided amongst 1 I objects the Invest amounts being ilfiO c;!ch .lo the Aged and Infirm Ministers" Fund and to assisting weak ron~re;*:'mons in settled charges, also £3-30 each to Kiioa Collew EndowmentFund, church extension tor new work, and assistinc The present home mission stations, while £2oo is Mr towards scholarships for divinity students and £.'*2oo each towards foreign missions and j Widows' and Orphans'" Fundi
