Butter—The average prieo for the week for choicest New Zealand butter is 1:295, Australian 1255, Argentine 1245, Danish 136, Siberian 1225. The cheese market is firm, with a hardening tendency. The average price for tlie week for finest New Zealand is 70s. The hemp market is steady, with a better demand. New Zealand, good fair spot, £2O; fair grade, £l9 10s; fair current Manila, £2O 10s. The output from Manila for tlie week was 20,000 bales. The wool market is quiet but firm, with 110 change in prices.
