(Per Press' Association.) Christclmrcli, December 21. The weather is'still unseasonable. Heavv raiii fell again last night, and though it cleared to-day, the grass conrts are vorv heavy, seriously interfering with tennis practice. Dunlop appears to be in good firm and Brookes pleases the onlookers. Beals Wright and M'Loughlin are practising assiduotislv, and have impressed the spectators on their occasional visits to the public courts. Lamed has kept fairly closely to a private court. flie New Zealand championships open on Saturday.
