RADIUM PURCHASE.
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] (Per Press Association.) Received December 21, at 9.40 a.m. Melbourne, December 21. A. report received by the Government from the leading hospitals is against the purcliase'bf a largo supply of radium. It states that the-mineral is only'on its trial and its curative power has not been proved on airy deep-rooted disease. The report suggests the obtaining of £1(100 worth as an experiment.
