UNIVERSAL PICTURES.

The programme which is to bo screened at tile Opera House this evening lias been shown to large audiences at Duiiediu arid Tiniaru, and the big audience at the matinee performance to-day loudly applauded every picture as it appeared. The list contains a very interesting picture representation of the Oxford-Cambridge boat race rowed on April Ist. The contest was an exciting one, and the bioscope operator lias managed to obtain excellent pictures of the race. The rest of the programme is composed ol the latest pictures. Pat he Gazette No. 101 is an excellent number, "'Where the Wind Blows" is a powerful Vitigraph drama, and "An Eventful Evening" is another excellent story. "The BlackI"ordered Letter" is an extremely fascinating detective subject, and "Bertie's Bandit" contains many exciting situations. "Western Ireland" contains remarkably well selected views of Irish life, and "Snakes and their habits" should prove an interesting natural study. The programme is strong in laughter-makers. "Tontolini and his Dogs" is a highly diverting •picture, "All's Well in Love or War, a delightful comedy, and "Duped by Dupinj" a hilarious travesty of the celebrated Arsene Lupin, while the remaining subject, "When Tiliy's Uncle Flirted" is a most amusing comedy sketch. The Patlie Orchestra will supi'l-- the necessary musical accompaniment.
