COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE AT TECHNICAL CLASSES.
(Per Pbess Association.) Wanganui, May 8. The Wanganui School Committee this evening approved of the provisions of the Education Act Amendment of last session regarding compulsory attendance at continuation classes. The Committee recommended that liberal provision he made for exemptions, so that the Technical College will have full latitude to deal with exceptional cases. It also recommends that if at all possible arrangements he made for holding classes for girls in the afternoon.
