C. Williamsoh has now definitely arranged to'"present the famous actress on one more occasion prior to her departure for America. On Tuesday i night next .will -bevstAged;.: for the firsl; time and only ! here Charles Klein's sensational dramatic success, "The Third Degree." This gives Miss Grey much greater opportunities than any other piece in her repertoire to display her wonderful histrionic abilities, and the part of Richard Brewster also presents Mr William Desmond at his very best, whilst Mr Cyril Mackay, Mr George Bryant, Mr Leslie Victor, and Miss Susie Vaijghnn and Miss Alma Vaughau have all important parts to portray. It is the boast of Charles Klein that he hits and hits hard at some "abuse" or public scandal in each and nil of his plays. The "abuse" which is handled in "The Third Degree" is the method by which the police of the United States obtain statements or confessions from men and women who are arrested and examined after a serious crime has been committed. The author has given it the flavor of a detective story, with a supposed murder as the starting point, and an innocent man as the suspected criminal. The plans will be opened at the Dresden on Saturday nest at half-past eight o'clock. A queue will be formed from eight o'clock, and, judging by the impression' created by Miss Grey and Co. on their former season, there will be a large demand for seats.
