Lord Beauehamp, on behalf of Earl Crewe, in reply to Lord Amprhill, regarding the deportation of Indians to the Transvaal, said every opportunity was afforded Indians to prove their domicile in South. Africa, but many absolutely refused to give the information. He added that the Government- were continuously seeking a solution of a grave situation, and had brought all the allegations of ill-treatment under the Transvaal's notice.
