Canada is enquiring into British tender.-, for the construction of four warshirs of an improved Bristol class and -<; x destrovers. Received Julv 23, at 5.30 a.m. Ottawa, July 22. The cruiser Xiobe will serve as a 'tsining cruiser for the Canadian Athrttic ports. The Admiralty will lend '-t on active service rations, including 2 skilled instructional staff and the '■ft-ssary officers for the safe conduct '"•:' the vessel to Canada. The remainder '•• tile complement will consist of fleet •> ; trviste. Similar steps will be taken ;a i-onneetion with the cruiser Raintp". which will be stationed at British Columbia, and will " participate in y»ries protection. Both vessels will ; ;!tii;:ately become parent ships for the 'kstrovers.
