In the House of Commons Mr Buxton informed Mr Lawson that the Emigrants' Information Office was to supply Labor Exchange information regarding labor conditions in the dominions. The Government were carefully considering the question of obtaining from the Labor Departments of the colonies information relating to the demand and supply of labor, also the desirability of linking up the labor exchanges of the empire.
