SCOUT OFFICERS' QUARREL.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, March 31. In connection with the recent trouble between the officers of the Dominion Scouts at an encampment at , Lower Hutt, Acting-Lieutenant Houston has been dismissed. The trouble occurred on the 4th February between Captain Dalrymple, who was in command of the Dominion Scouts,'-and Acting-Lieutenant Houston. A military court' of inquiry was set up to consider the case, consisting of Colonel CampbellylVFajor Courtenay, and Captain- Essen. ■ • The court took evidence and furnished a report to the Government. The report was considered by the Cabinet, and the recommendation of the court forwarded to the Governor in the usual way. The' result is now that instructions have been given, in accordance with the report of the Military Court, for the dismissal of Acting-Lient. Houston.
