(Per Pbess Association.) : ■•.'.' -' '' ' Wellington, March 29. The Drivers, Painters, and Shearers' Unions' are holding federation meetings in Wellington at present. The mam purpose 'of the drivers is to establish a New Zealand Drivers' Federation. Last year the rules and regulations governin o- such federation were practically settled. This rear's conference has been confined to the work of its predecessor, :ind iv-doralion is now an established fact. The painters' conference is ;to bi-m- about uniformity and unanimity in the matter of subscriptions and rules. The object of the Shearers' Federation is to secure complete unanimity in matters of general interest, also to review | the shearing season just over.
