He hopes to play in firstclass cricket in the coining season. ' (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, October 31. The cricket season opened yesterday in fine weather. Carisbrook B met Opoho, and mode 95 in their first innings: (Columb 27, Barron 19), and 35 for one wicket in their second. Opoho compiled 88 in their first innings (Casey 25, not ont). Carisbrook A made 80 against Grange, and'the latter replied with 139 for nine wickets (Henderson 30). Dunedin met Albion aiid scored 91 (Wilson 26), and II for three wickets; while Albion put up 128 (Wordsworth 25, Williams 25). In Dunedin's 1 ' first innings Wordsworth (coach) took four wickets for 24. .
