Mr Walter Long addressed 10,000 Conservatives and Liberal. Unionists at Mountain Ash.
A resolution condemning the Budget and favoring tariff reform was carried by an overwhelming majority. Mr Runciman, in a speech at Rhyc, said that the Budget. was good, and that the Government would introduce one equally good in 1910. "
