PRESENTATION TO MR PRYOR. After the swimming events were over the members of the Club assembled 'n the ladies' room of the baths, the specific purpose being a small send-off to Mr Pryor. who has so energetically worked for the well-being of the Olub. Dr Douglas (the President), who made the presentation, said there was not a member who did not regret the severance of Mr Pryor from the Club. From the very inception of the baths movement he had been a most active and energetic member, and he did not want him to go away without some small memento for his services. It was fitting that the last two functions in Oamaru had been things with which Mr Pryor had been actively connected, to the benefit of hoth. He meant the Swimming Club and the Horticultural Society. These two organisations in Mns-t-erton would have the benefit of Mr Prvnr's experience, and he w-is sure it would be' to their advantage. Dr Douglas then presented Mr Prvnr with a handsome smoker's outfit. Mr F. G. Williams, on behalf of the Club's relay team which won the 200 yards relay event at Timant last season, under Mr Pryor's management, presented him with a framed photo of the team. Mr Pryor thanked the Club for the way they had treated him. and the function closed with three hearty cheers for the recipient.
