THE WELLINGTON TOURNAMENT. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, January 5. The finals of the remaining events on the programme of the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association's tournament were played yesterday on the Thorndon Club's courts. The weather was again perfect, and the games were watched with interest by a large number of spectators. The following aire the results : —Men's. Championship Singles.-Semi-fin a'l.
R. X. K. Swanston beat H. V. Howe, 6—4, 6—2.
Final. R. X. K. Swanston beat G. Oltivicr,, 6—2, 6—4. —Ladies' Championship Singles.— Final.
Mrs Hiekson beat Miss Williams, 6—2 6-0.
—Combined Championship Doubles.—< Semi-final. Miss Marchant and H. M. Gore beat Miss Hiekson and F. Ollivier, 6 —3, 6—4. Final. Mrs Hiekson and 11. X. K. Swanston beat Miss Marchant and H. M. Gore, 6—4, 6—o. Ladies' Championship Doubles.— Mrs Hiekson and Miss E. Williams beat Misses Hiekson and J. Scott, 6—o, 6—l.
