(Pee Press Association.) Received July 12, at 11.15 p.m. St. Petersburg, July 12. The assassin of Count- Schouvaloff is a former suspect, but his identity is unknown. He waited until t-lio other petittiouors withdrew, and then fired five poisoned bullets at the Prefect. Three entered the body, and Schouvaloff succumbed in an hour. The fourth wounded M. Schneider, a prefectorial official. The assassin was arrested.

Received July 12, at 11.15 p.m. St-. Petersburg, July 12. One bundled bombs have been discoverad in different persons' possession at Tiflis. The Czar has signed a law empowering a single Minister, instead of four, to suppress any newspaper altogether.
