THE CHINESE TROUBLE

Owing to French soldiers creating- continuous rowdyisms they have been forbidden, to enter the British - .concession at Tientsin unless on duty. Mockler, a British divisional stall' officer was assaulted 'in the French concession, yesterday. The guards at Kinder's siding have been reduced to 27 on each side during the negotiations for the adjustment of the difficulty. Received March 19, at 0.52 a.m. London, March 18.
Dr Morrison on Saturday stated that the Manchuriai! convention practically installing- Russia in Chinese Turkestan turns the whole posdt-on, which Britain had toiled to males impregnable on the northwestern frontier of India.
