(BY telegraph. ) Wellington. October 31. When the House met this evening innocents to the number of 20 were slaughtered. Tho following are the Bills which the Premier hopes to pass before the end of the session:—fiailways Authorisation, Public Works Amendment, Public Revenues Amendment, Juries Act Amendment, Reserves and Endowments Bill, Natives Reserves Amendment, Admiralty House, Law Practitioners Amendment, Technical Education, Rating on Unimproved Valuation, Shearers Accommodation, Porirua School Grant, Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment, and Homing Pigeons. This, of course, does not include Bills which are at present before Committees. After dealing with the motion rescinding the suspension of Mr R. M'Kenzie, member for Motueka, referred to elsewhere, the House proceeded to discuss local Bills, some 14 of which were put through their final stages. On the motion of the Hon. Mr Hall-Jones, the Admiralty House Bill was read a second time. On the motion of the Hod. Mr Carroll the Cemeteries Act Amendment Bill was agreed to and subsequently passed its final stages. The House rose at 1.20.
