NINE LIVES LOST.

The captain of the Grafton, which arrived to-night, reports that nine liven were lout, one man only being saved. Wendy the spars an; [eft on the nock?. A steamer is leaving at raidnu'ht on Sunday for the scene. Four bodies have been washed up. February;». There are no further particular* of the wreck of tho Gazelle. The steamer Lily left at midnight and wilt search for bodies and bring them and the survivors to Nelson. She wilt probably arrive this afternoon. Tlie Gazelle was insured for L2-">*) in the United and L 1250 in the North Queensland. The tatter is re-insured with tho London Provincial and Chins Traders-
