ST. PAUL'S CHURCH.
TO THE EDITOR. Sit:,—ln answer to a letter which appeals in your issue of Wednesday, by one who signs himself a "Member," allow me to state that St. Paul's Church has been granted several times for temperance lectures. But when application was made for the use of the church for several nights, the Session considered that there were halls in town better fitted than the church for the object in view. If the "Member" who feels aggrieved at the action of the Session wishes further information on the subject, I shall be happy to give it. as the matter does not concern the general public. I am, etc., Alex. B. Todd. St. Paul's Manse, Oamaru.
